MENTMORE MIDSUMMER FETE
The Mentmore Midsummer Fete will be held this year on 22nd June from 1-5pm.
We will be having all the traditional favourites including a Brass Band, Bricabrac,
Tombola, Produce, Plants and Pre-loved Clothing stalls, a Vintage Car display, a Dog
Show, Terrier Racing and a Raffle. There will be a local history stall and a photography
competition. There will be fun to be had at the Crockery Smash, Beat The Goalie, a
Bouncy Castle and ,at the end of the afternoon, our usual Tug Of War.
The refreshments, as usual, will be epic - tea , cakes, a Bar including jugs of Pimm’s and
a BBQ.
We will be raising money for St Mary’s Church ,as well as 2 worthy charities:
DAFS/FRANK - supporting families of drug/alcohol abuse victims.
SPECTRUM - a local self-funding organisation providing children with learning and
physical disabilities with art/drama/performances activities.

BRIDGE CLUB.
Would you like to join a friendly group of 10 to 20 other players who meet twice each month for a social morning of playing bridge? If so why not join us at the Bowls Club on the second and fourth Thursday in each month at 9.30am.

2 full size tables 50p for 10 mins play = £3.00 per hour
In the village hall, upstairs.

Free tea and coffee
Snooker club operated by obtaining a key from a member in the Wing village.
Club open 7 days a week, 24h a day
