Girlguiding UK Wing District - covering Ivinghoe and Pitstone, Cheddington, Wing, Wingrave and surrounding areas - are considering the formation of a Trefoil Guild within the district.

1st Cheddington Guides are usually aged between 10 and 14, although some Guides like to stay until they are older and are more than welcome to come along. Any girl over the age of ten can become a Guide as long as she is able to understand and wants to make the Guide Promise.

Being a Guide is all about belonging to a group, learning new skills, making new friends and helping others. Each Guide is encouraged to achieve her own personal goals through a progressive programme with the opportunity to work for a wide variety of badges.

So if this sounds like something you would be interested in taking part in or even helping out with, please come along and give it a try.

Girls can be registered on the Guide Waiting List from their 9th birthday. Cheddington residents will be given priority although girls from the surrounding Cheddington area are also welcome to register but cannot be guaranteed a place.

Brownies is an exciting group giving girls between the ages of 7 and 10 the opportunity to experience and learn new skills and activities in an all girl environment as part of Girlguiding UK .

At Brownies we aim to give the girls a fun programme where we can encourage the girls to achieve goals whilst working towards badges and achieve personal goals too.

Being a Brownie is about having fun, making new friends and helping others. All part of the Brownie Promise.

We meet every Monday during term time at Cheddington Village hall between 5.15pm and 6.45pm

Brownies is open to all girls in Cheddington and the surrounding area. We also have a waiting list so we encourage you to register your daughter’s interest from their 5th Birthday

Cheddington Rainbows is the youngest section of the guiding movement. It is open to girls between 5 and 7 years of age. We meet once a week on Tuesdays from 4.15 to 5.15pm at the school.

Your daughter can be registered from her 4th birthday and must live in Cheddington or both attend Cheddington School and live within the Cheddington school catchment area.
